Welcome to the team

Team  |   By McKenna Taylor

McKenna Taylor is welcoming three new faces to our criminal law team. These exciting new additions each bring with them unique criminal law knowledge and a variety of experience within the industry. In reflection of the growing strength of the team, each of our new members echoes the firm’s values and goals, maintaining the personalised and empathetic service we are known for.

Our first new addition to the McKenna Taylor team is Erin Priestly and our newest admitted solicitor. Erin brings with her first-hand knowledge and experience from years working with barristers specialising in criminal law as an Associate in both the ACT Magistrates Court and ACT Supreme Court. As a Graduate of the Australian National University with First Class Honours, Erin not only has the academic nous to handle the complexity of the challenge, but has also gained the street smarts of years of in-course exposure to the field.

Sinead Allen joins us a Paralegal, emerging straight from her time volunteering in the Aboriginal Legal Service. This experience and knowledge brings a unique and important skill base to the McKenna Taylor team. Sinead is also an avid contributor to academic papers on issues of criminal justice at the ANU.

Anjali Goyal has a vast array of experience specialising in criminal law, both locally and internationally. She has worked on the War Crimes Tribunals in The Hague and in the high profile 2012 Delhi gang rape case. Anjali will very soon complete her final semester of Laws with Honours at the Australian National University.

With these exciting new additions to the McKenna Taylor team, we hope to even further build upon our specialist criminal law representation and client focused service.
